Sorry, I have been busy painting my house

I'm afraid the alt Norway source is the same as it was before, I can not see that additional channels have been added.

I do the following when testing: init 4 - delete the epg.dat - init 3 and the download manually only using the alt Norway source. Is there something else I should do?

They should be complete be now. I do not know what is wrong.
But in order to find out, and exclude any other mistakes, could you pls. copy both the attached files to your box in etc/epgimport

Select only the Local Norway source and import.

PS: These are only the norwegian channels. Everything else is disabled (swedish and danish channels)

I found an error in the XMLTV file. This caused the file to end prematurely.

Could you test the following pls.
This file is only 2/3 of the complete file, but contains the part in which I found the error and should contain the extra norwegian channels.

Pls. report (and send log)

With the new channels and source file I now get EPG on almost all Norwegian channels. And also some Swedish and Danish ones

A quick look shows the following channels missing EPG:

(All the NRK channels)
NRK 1 HD 1:0:1:DBB:23:46:E080000:0:0:0: (all NRK1 are basically the same)
NRK1 Rogaland 1:0:1:DB2:23:46:E080000:0:0:0:
NRK2 1:0:1:5DE:23:46:E080000:0:0:0:
NRK Super/NRK3 1:0:1:DB6:23:46:E080000:0:0:0:
TLC Norge 1:0:1:1A0:4:46:E080000:0:0:0:
TV 2 Sport 2 1:0:1:721:3E:46:E080000:0:0:0:
TV 2 Sport 3 1:0:1:CF0:3E:46:E080000:0:0:0:
TV 2 Sport 4 1:0:1:CEF:3E:46:E080000:0:0:0:

I also get EPG on the Danish channel TV2 and the Swedish SVT1 and SVTB/SVT24.

Go to the import plug-in.
Press the info button.

Save the log

the log is in /tmp

Getting closer

I tested the alt Norway source this morning and the following channels are missing EPG:

Eurosport : was missing in the XMLTV file - Ihave to find out why - because it is supposed the be in.

Eurosport2 and HD and NRK2 are available in the XMLTV file and the link is correct in the channels file. Do not know why they are not imported.

Voice was not included. I have added it now.

TV4 Fakta and TV2 Sport 2/3/4/5 - cannot find epg.

I cannot read the discovery website. But given me this info, I concluded that the channel was one of the discovery stable. I found the data here:

It seems to be Discovery Travel and Living Channel.

I have included this epg for it. OK?

Would be nice if more people tried it an reported back missing EPG etc. The bug solving process is realy fast. In my opinion the Norwegian source has now become quite good and my self ported to Rytec yesterday after a few earlier disappointing visits.

Ok, looks much better now than the last time I tried!

But missing something..:
TV3 Sweden/Stockholm (1:0:1:44C:3:56) has the same EPG as TV3 Norge (1:0:1:73D:3E:46)
FEM (1:0:1:9D0:19:46) has no EPG
SVT HD (1:0:1:57E:E:46) has no EPG(I think it should be the same as SVT1)

Otherwise, great work!

Just to fill in about missing EPG on FEM, the FEM service has two servicereferences on different package:

Added - and corrected.

Indeed tv3 stockholm was mistakenly given the epg of TV3 Norge

FEM was mislabled

SVT HD added.
